Internet to a second building with outdoor Wi-Fi coverage

Extend Starlink, NBN or another existing internet connection to a remote shed, barn or workshop up to 3 km away, then provide outdoor Wi-Fi across the surrounding yard, paddock or work area.

Choose this kit when: your priority is Wi-Fi outside the remote building rather than indoor coverage or a separate router. The weatherproof UniFi U7 Outdoor is designed to cover open outdoor areas around farms, acreages, workshops and commercial properties.

Potential link speed

Up to approximately 450+ Mbps total wireless link throughput under ideal conditions. This is the potential speed of the building-to-building bridge; outdoor Wi-Fi speed and coverage will vary separately. Actual performance depends on distance, clear line of sight, radio alignment, interference, mounting height, your internet plan and connected devices.

How it works

  1. An airMAX radio at the main building sends your internet connection across the wireless bridge.
  2. A second airMAX radio receives the connection at the remote building.
  3. A weatherproof UniFi U7 Outdoor provides Wi-Fi across the surrounding outdoor area.

  • 1 × UniFi PoE+ injector (U-PoE+) for the outdoor access point

Choose your bridge radio

LiteBeam 5AC Gen2 (value) is lightweight and cost-effective for shorter or easier links. PowerBeam 5AC Gen2 (long-range) uses a higher-gain dish for stronger performance at distance. For links beyond 3 km, ask about our LiteBeam 5AC-LR or PowerBeam 620 options.

Supply only or pre-configured?

Choose Supply only for equipment ready for you or your installer to mount and configure. Choose Pre-configured & tested and our technicians will pair, secure and bench-test the wireless link and configure the outdoor access point before dispatch.
